Bergler Mineralöl GmbH is a family company headquartered in Weiden. At 14 locations in Upper Franconia and Upper Palatinate, Bergler ensures the logistics and transportation of goods here. In addition to providing fuel for vehicles, products such as food or drinks as well as services such as car washing, tire changes and repair services are also offered on site.

Who doesn't know it? You're in a hurry, you're late and, to make matters worse, you realize that the tank is almost empty. Quick to the gas pump, fill up the car, pay and get on straight away. “The receipt is rarely ever taken away,” says Cashier Jenny Kopp. What's left are trash bags full of waste paper receipts made from environmentally harmful thermal paper. But that's not all. The costs of avoidable printing are also significant when the number of transactions is high and the question can be asked as to why, figuratively speaking, money should be printed directly in the trash when appropriate alternatives already exist.

The solution is the digital receipt from anybill. This is paperless, which prevents the thermal paper from being printed and thus helps to conserve resources. The cost factor is also being targeted. “Compared to conventional paper receipts, we save around 30% in costs per year,” explains Simone Bösl, who is responsible for marketing at Bergler, among other things. Furthermore, it is also possible to place content or content areas on the digital document, which can be individually adapted to your own needs. “This creates another digital customer channel through which we can reach our customers with additional offers and information,” explains Bösl. This creates completely new opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling, which result in significantly more intensive and therefore improved customer contact.
