Stop wasting resources — with the digital receipt

The family-run supermarket branches “Biosam” pamper their customers in Cologne's Agnesviertel and in Dellbrück with a range of over 6200 items. Sustainability is a top priority for Sammy and David Porath - and the products also show this: In addition to various organic seals on the packaging, many regional products from the Rhineland fill the shelves.

Herausforderung

Sustainability is a matter close to the heart of the family company from Cologne. In contrast to the regional and therefore environmentally friendly variety of products, the printed receipt stands out particularly negatively here. This causes huge amounts of environmentally harmful thermal paper waste every day, which in most cases is not even taken away by customers and is therefore printed virtually directly into the trash.

Lösung

The digital receipt from anybill counteracts this waste of resources. After the payment process, a QR Code is issued on the customer display at the cash register, which allows the digital receipt to be saved as a PDF, sent by email, saved in one of our partner apps or added to an AnyBill account. This saves large quantities of thermal paper every day and, last but not least, costs.
