For 22 years, the "Janet Andriske" hair salon in the heart of Hamburg has been delighting its clients. Besides hair styling and cuts, they are particularly known for their award-winning hair extensions and thickening.
Challenge
Due to the mandatory receipt issuance law introduced in 2020, hair salons must also issue a receipt for every transaction. In most cases, customers don't need it, and it ends up directly in the trash. This generates large amounts of non-recyclable paper waste daily, which also incurs significant costs.
Solution
anybill's digital receipt solves these problems. After payment, a QR code is scanned on the customer display at the checkout, and the digital receipt can be saved as a PDF, sent via email, stored in one of our partner apps, or added to the customer's anybill account. This saves large quantities of environmentally harmful thermal paper and, importantly, costs daily. Naturally, the digital receipt is legally compliant.
