Munster. Westfalen AG is continuing to push ahead with digitization in its gas station business. From now on, the company is using digital receipts at its 256 gas stations and filling station machines. To this end, the Münster-based company is working with anybill, the leading provider of technology for digital receipts. Processing continues with the proven cash register system from HUTH Elektronik Systeme GmbH.
With this switch, Westphalia is already preparing to introduce the updated document issuance requirement. “The digital receipt makes the payment process much more environmentally friendly by optional omission of printed receipts,” explains Sandra Schütte, Head of Mobility at Westphalia. “The cooperation with anybill enables a simple, legally compliant integration of the digital service into the existing cash register system,” adds Sven Benger, Payment Retail Systems Specialist at Westphalia.
Lea Frank, co-founder & CEO of anybill, about the collaboration:
“We are delighted to be partnering with Westfalen AG. The decision to switch to the digital receipt underlines Westphalia's commitment to environmental protection and economic efficiency. ”
