Q1 Energie AG digitizes receipts with anybill

Osnabrück. Convenient, paperless and innovative: Q1 focuses on more digitization in the gas station business. This is made possible by a cooperation with anybill, the leading provider of technology for digital receipts. Thanks to digital receipts, Q1 can now not only avoid unnecessary blank prints on receipt paper, but also open up new digital channels to customers.

The digital receipt can be displayed as a QR code on the customer's display or sent directly to an existing customer account. Anybill thus offers a sustainable alternative to conventional paper receipts and a new digital marketing channel for customers.

“The partnership with anybill enables us to take another step towards digitization in the gas station business. The digital receipt is not only convenient and innovative, but also a contribution to greater sustainability. We are pleased to be able to offer our customers this modern and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional paper receipts,” explains Frank Stapenhorst, Head of POS Technology at Q1.

Q1 started digitizing receipts at the pilot sites in Iffezheim and Espenau last year. After the digital receipts were very well received by customers at these locations, the cooperation was rolled out to 26 filling stations on the Q1 network. In the future, Q1 would also like to offer a digital receipt at over 200 other stations.
