Freudenstadt, 23.07.2024 — OEST ENERGIES GmbH & Co. KG ÖST ENERGIES GmbH & Co. KG from Freudenstadt has begun introducing digital receipts at its Xpress vending machine filling stations. The four locations in Freudenstadt, Stuttgart-Möhringen, Dornhan and Mannheim are currently activated. The other 25 Xpress automatic filling stations from OEST ENERGIES are to follow soon. The integration of anybill's digital receipts into Hectronic's existing vending machine system represents another important step towards digitization and customer orientation. With the implementation of the document finder, OEST also offers its customers an innovative and convenient additional service in connection with the digital receipt.
The switch to digital receipts has numerous advantages for OEST:
Easy retrieval via document finder: Customers who pay by card can use the document finder to retrieve their receipt at any time and without the assistance of an employee via the web portal provided. The receipt is available immediately and indefinitely.
High level of fraud protection/unique identification: By querying exact receipt details (location, amount, date, 4 digits of the card number), a high level of fraud security is also ensured.
Fulfilment of the obligation to issue receipts: Even without a printer, the obligation to issue receipts at gas pumps can be met by making the digital receipt available on the customer display in the form of a QR code.
Digital customer experience at OEST: With digital receipts, OEST customers receive an additional digital service that is free of charge for them and also minimizes unnecessary printing of receipt thermal paper
Lea Frank, co-founder and CEO of anybill, is excited about the cooperation:
“We are very pleased that OEST ENERGIES is using our solution. The implementation of digital receipts at AVIA stations not only makes things much easier for customers, but also represents a valuable additional touchpoint. This is a big step towards sustainable and customer-oriented services.”
The managing director of OEST ENERGIES, Matthias Pape, also underlines the advantages of the new solution:
“With the introduction of digital receipts and the receipt finder, we are saving significant amounts of thermal paper and reducing costs. Digitalizing our receipts is an important step in our strategy to offer our customers the best possible service while making our processes more efficient.”
