New marketing touchpoints at HEM: 400 gas stations rely on digital receipts

Hamburg/Munich, January 15, 2024 — With the HEM gas station chain, Deutsche Tamoil GmbH is focusing on digitization in cooperation with the start-up anybill and HUTH Elektronik Systeme GmbH. In response to rising commodity prices, digital receipts will now be introduced at the company's approximately 400 gas stations. In doing so, the gas station chain is also establishing a new customer channel.

The switch to digital receipts is part of an optimization of operational processes at gas stations and at the same time helps to minimize the ecological footprint. The cooperation with anybill enables seamless integration of the service into the existing cash register system of HUTH Elektronik Systeme GmbH. Digital receipts can therefore not only be issued cost-effectively, but also in compliance with the law. By working with anybill, it is also possible to use advertising space on digital receipts to specifically inform customers about the range of products offered by HEM filling stations.
