Mooncard and anybill enable digital receipt receipt directly with the means of payment for the first time

  • Mooncard and anybill enable digital receipt — without additional processes such as QR code scanning or landing page redirection
  • The digital receipt is directly linked to the transaction, is available directly in the Mooncard payment overview and is directly available for expense reports — without further export

Paris/Munich/Regensburg — September 22, 2022. Mooncard is anybill's tech cooperation partner and French market leader for payment cards for companies. With Mooncard, the payment is automatically sent to the accounting department together with a photo of the receipt. Mooncard is a corporate card to facilitate business expenses.

With Mooncard, the expense report is automatically pre-filled with data from the bank transaction (including amount, type, VAT, etc.) and the refundable value added tax is calculated automatically. The data is 100% reliable and forgery-proof. All information is transmitted to the accounting system in the form of booking entries without having to be entered again.

Employees who have a moon card are reminded to manually photograph the printed invoices and upload them to the payment overview as soon as the employees have spent with the moon card.

Digital receipt directly linked to payment — document and transaction linked

The additional step with Mooncard of manually adding receipts to the company account is omitted due to the cooperation of Mooncard's intelligent payment cards for companies with the anybill technical interface. Mooncard users can receive digital receipts directly in connection with the card payment — without any further processes.

For anybill, Mooncard is the first partner to go live with this function and is an important step towards implementing digital receipts in combination with card payments. This means that no further QR code scan, no intermediate step with a landing page or the like is necessary. Users of Mooncard payment cards can use them as an identifier that automatically compares the transaction with the digital receipt without the need for further action. The receipt is sent directly to the Mooncard payment overview, linked to the transaction and is therefore directly available for the expense report — without additional export.

Alexandra Lüke, CPO at anybill, about the partnership with mooncard:

“Together with our new partner Mooncard, we are taking the first important step towards digital document transmission — linked to the payment transaction. The joint cooperation enables seamless receipt of documents without an additional QR code scan or an intermediate step with a landing page. The digital receipt is delivered directly to Mooncard's payment overview and linked to the transaction. Very practical for an expense report, for example, as no extra export is required. ”

Alexandre Smadja, Strategy Director of Mooncard, about the partnership with anybill:

“When I first heard about anybill and their mission to digitize receipts, I immediately knew that there was great potential for collaboration. We have a shared vision of a fully integrated payment process, and the technological synergies we are developing to make this a reality for Mooncard users are very exciting! ”
